Nationwide Children's Hospital
The Division of Dermatology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University are seeking additional academic pediatric dermatologists.
The position involves joining a team of four pediatric dermatologists and two nurse practitioners providing outpatient and inpatient care to children of all ages, as well as teaching fellows and residents. The institution is extremely supportive of developing pediatric dermatology due to the enormous demand for this service.
Opportunities exist for both clinical and basic science research as well as developing specialty clinics corresponding to areas of the applicant’s special interests.
Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit freestanding pediatric health care networks with 68 facilities extending throughout Ohio.
It has been nationally ranked in all 10 specialties by U.S. News & World Report for ten consecutive years, receiving “America’s Best Children’s Hospital Honor Roll,” in
2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17; 2017-18; 2018-19; 2019-20 and one of only one percent of hospitals re-designated as a Magnet™ organization for the fourth year in a row. It was also ranked among the Top 10 on Parents magazine’s 2013 “Best Children’s Hospitals” list.
The research institute is ranked in the top 10 nationally in NIH-funding to freestanding children’s hospitals. Research programs are organized into 12 multi-disciplinary Centers of Emphasis structured to encourage collaboration, facilitate team science and foster creativity.

Applicants must be board eligible/certified in dermatology with additional training or work experience in pediatrics and/or pediatric dermatology.
