Knoxville Institute of Dermatology
Knoxville Institute of Dermatology is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Dermatologist to replace our Pediatric Dermatologist who is retiring from our practice. This is an ideal opportunity to assume an established network of pediatric referrals from all of East Tennessee which has been developed over the past 30 years. Applicants must be personable, hard-working and have excellent clinical and surgical skills.
Our practice currently offers comprehensive adult and pediatric dermatology, Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, and a busy cosmetic practice. We have two comprehensive dermatologists who are also fellowship-trained and board-certified in dermatopathology, a full-time fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon, a board-certified pediatric dermatologist and two advanced practitioners. We have recently completed a beautiful 10,000 square-foot, practice-owned facility with multiple patient areas and surgical, pathology, and cosmetic suites.
The practice is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with immediate access to multiple recreational, educational and cultural amenities. The greater Knoxville metropolitan area currently has a population of approximately one million people and is growing rapidly. Cost of living in the region is very reasonable and the public school system is excellent. The lack of a state income tax is another great benefit of working in the state of Tennessee. The University of Tennessee, with over 35,000 students, is located here and brings a host of cultural, educational, and sports activities to the city. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the country's most visited national park, is approximately 45 minutes away. Knoxville is consistently ranked one of the best places to live and work in the country.
Knoxville Institute of Dermatology offers competitive compensation with a potential equal-partnership track available to the right candidate. The increasing level of demand in Knoxville and the opportunity to be the only pediatric dermatologist in East Tennessee creates high earning potential, with current compensation above the national average as reported by the latest MGMA survey.
