Mentorship Opportunities

Facilitated Peer Mentoring Groups for Junior Pediatric Dermatologists

The objective of these small group interactions is to provide mentorship for junior pediatric dermatologists and residents interested in pediatric dermatology in the area of clinical pediatric dermatology. Groups consisting of no more than five participants meet monthly (junior faculty) or quarterly (residents), with the option for more frequent meetings depending on group consensus, via secure internet videoconferencing. These groups are led a by a senior pediatric dermatologist who has committed to mentoring for one year. The goal is to initiate facilitated mentoring groups with movement towards independent peer mentoring relationships that will persist beyond the one-year period. The mentors for 2023 are Jim Treat, MD and Leslie Lawley, MD (Junior Faculty) and Tony Mancini (residents).

If you are interested in participating, email Emily Stark.
