Award for Dermatologists from Developing Countries

The Society for Pediatric Dermatology's (SPD) annual award for a dermatologist who has made significant contribution to the care of pediatric skin disease in his or her developing country will not be given in 2017 for the World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The award will be given again in 2018, and the receipient of the award will be invited to attend our 43rd Annual Meeting, to be held July 11-14, 2018 in Lake Tahoe, California, USA and will be asked to give a brief presentation at that meeting.

Registration and travel expenses will be paid by SPD. We are particularly interested in supporting a dermatologist who might otherwise be unable to attend our meeting. Applications should include, but are not limited to: CV, headshot photograph (used in SPD newsletter if selected), and letters of nomination (if available).
