The department of dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a board certified or eligible dermatologist with demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, research, and scholarship.

Primary responsibilities will be providing patient care in pediatric dermatology in outpatient and resident clinics and participate in our inpatient consultation and call coverage. Clinics will be located in New York City at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to clinical care, applicants should anticipate an active role in teaching, scholarship, leadership and service. We are also expecting the applicant to have experience and/or desire to participate in cutting edge clinical trials or other research activities.

The Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, that has the largest residency program in the country and is one of the largest and best departments in the US, is seeking academic, board certified medical and cosmetic dermatologists with a strong academic track record and a productivity and publications to join its growing faculty.

We offer clinical translational, or educational research and activities in an area of the faculty’s choosing and participation and presentation at local, regional and national meetings are expected. Mentoring opportunities for clinical care, scholarship, leadership and teaching are readily available. An abundance of translational, clinical trials, clinical and basic research opportunities will be available with great potential for professional and personal advancement in a nurturing environment.

Applicant will participate in the administrative operations and will be encouraged to actively serve on divisional and departmental committees.

• Compensation range from 300,000K to 600,000K (not including bonuses / Incentive compensation or benefits)

Position Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the State of New York
• Track record of academic productivity, research and publications, including in skin of color
• Experience in clinical trials and/or Clinical/translational Research is a plus
• Expertise and experience in Cosmetic procedures and Lasers is a plus
