The Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking candidates for the position of Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
The successful Director candidate will have board certification and clinical experience in Pediatric Dermatology in complex and diverse patient populations. He/she will believe in teamwork and have demonstrated the ability to successfully support multidisciplinary research and clinical initiatives. Candidates will have demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in building new initiatives. He/she will enhance growth through faculty recruits and creation of program projects. He/she will have appropriate experience to direct pediatric dermatology education for residents and medical students.
Established in 1973, the Division of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center has evolved into a leading academic program. The Division currently has 19 residents and 11 fulltime and 4 part-time faculty members. The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is a 192-bed inpatient facility with over 50,000 emergency department visits/year and over 9000 admissions/year. CHAM is the primary clinical teaching site for 17 different pediatric subspecialty training programs.

Required Qualifications
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board certification in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology
• An outstanding record of personal accomplishment in clinical care and teaching
• A record of accomplishment in research is supported but not required
• A demonstrated commitment to fostering racial, ethnic and gender diversity
• A record of fostering an environment of teamwork and inclusivity
• A strong work ethic and commitment to personal and institutional integrity
