Job Description:

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, is seeking candidates for an Assistant, Associate, or full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician or clinical educator track. Applicants must have a M.D. or D.O. degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is a world-renowned pediatric hospital with state-of-the-art facilities and leading experts in all specialties of pediatric medicine. The ideal candidate will join a group of passionate academic pediatric dermatologists with a variety of interests while having the opportunity to build their own niche within pediatric dermatology.

Clinical responsibilities include providing dermatologic care in the outpatient pediatric dermatology clinic and on the inpatient consult service. There will be many opportunities to work with highly motivated residents, fellows, and medical students as part of the teaching responsibilities.

Multidisciplinary clinics are plentiful at CHOP, and many opportunities exist to join these dynamic clinics. Our practice is the ideal environment for someone who works well on a collaborative team, has an academic mindset, and aims to be a leader in expanding the field of pediatric dermatology. Physicians with an interest in doing clinical research are also welcome.
