(36 approved programs as of February 7, 2020)
Starting January 1, 2021, the American Board of Dermatology will no longer administer the process for accrediting Pediatric Dermatology fellowship programs. This responsibility will transfer to the ACGME. The application deadline for the accreditation of new programs by the ABD has passed (December 31, 2019). Programs approved prior to December 31, 2019 will receive an abbreviated approval term of 2 years. Established programs seeking re-accreditation in 2020 may submit an application to the ABD requesting a 2-year extension. Programs seeking accreditation in 2021 and beyond must apply directly to the ACGME.
