Children’s Hospital of New Orleans (CHNO) is growing, and we're searching for a board certified pediatric dermatologist to join us in our mission to provide excellent care to the children of Louisiana! This unique position allows the candidate to enjoy the perks of employment from a hospital system with the opportunity for academic affiliation with both LSU Health New Orleans and Tulane University School of Medicine. CHNO is a 222 bed not-for-profit pediatric medical center. It is the first and largest full-service hospital exclusively for children in Louisiana and the Gulf South region. We employ more than 400 physicians across 40 pediatric specialties. Our campus is situated along the Mississippi River in beautiful uptown New Orleans, and will complete a $300 million transformation in summer 2021. Our EPIC system was most recently updated in November 2020.

What we offer:
You'll be joining two dermatologists already in practice at CHNO. We have hospital based and community based clinic locations, and we provide inpatient consultation services for the hospital. You'll have access to clinic based nbUVB phototherapy, Children's Hospital OR, and laser rental opportunities. We have strong clinical and administrative support including a full time nurse navigator, an authorization specialist, and a practice administrator dedicated to pediatric dermatology. Research opportunities are available but not required. Teaching opportunities for residents and medical students are available as well.
