Assistant/Associate Professor - Pediatric Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Pediatric Dermatology on the clinician educator or clinician scholar line. Clinical responsibilities will be conducted at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) main campus and CHLA satellites. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, clinical excellence and academic scholarship. Duties include teaching of residents and medical students, direct patient care, and participation in scholarly activities.
The Keck School of Medicine of USC, founded in 1885, has been a close affiliate with Children's Hospital Los Angeles since 1932. The Department of Dermatology is rapidly growing with 24 full-time faculty. The pediatric dermatology division at CHLA, consisting of 3 full time board-certified pediatric dermatologists and a nurse practitioner, is actively engaged in inpatient and outpatient clinical care, teaching, research, and community outreach.

CHLA is a pediatric research and teaching hospital with 347 active inpatient beds and serves as a major regional referral center for children who require specialty services. CHLA cares for the largest and most diverse patient population of any leading pediatric research hospital in North America. The pediatric dermatology division is extremely active, with over 10,000 outpatient and over 400 inpatient visits per year.
