Guidelines for Posting Research on the SPD Website

  • Only SPD members may submit research studies for posting.
  • The product/medication involved in the research study must have institutional review board (IRB) approval. The SPD must have documentation of IRB approval prior to posting on the website.

Steps involved in posting Research study on SPD website:

  1. Fax copy of Certification/Agreement
    and IRB approval for research study to:

    Subject: IRB approval


    Documentation of IRB approval of internet recruitment of patients and/or documentation that the posting or "advertisement" has been approved by the host site.

  3. When all documentation has been received and reviewed, you will be notified once your research study has been approved for website posting.

    Please note that yearly updates of IRB approval will be required or the posting will be removed from the SPD site.
