The Department of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) invites applicants for the Directorship of the Division of Dermatology. The Division Director will provide the Division with the vision necessary to lead to the next phase of excellence and growth. The Division aims to transform the delivery of dermatology care and foster innovation in medical care, patient and family experience, education and research.

The Division seeks leadership with the vision to expand access and develop a broader scope of dermatology services to ensure that children thrive with care that is unparalleled, evidence-based and that puts children and families at the center.
CCHMC consistently ranks in the top 3 pediatric hospitals among Honor Roll Hospitals, listed again in 2016-2017 in U.S. News & World Report. CCHMC has a unique, long-standing collaborative relationship with over 200 community pediatricians that offers the opportunity for quality improvement, practice-based research and innovative care delivery models. Ranked number 2 in pediatric research funding from the NIH, the institution is also one of the world’s largest centers devoted to pediatric medical research. The environment is highly collaborative with close connections between clinical care and research and across divisions, departments and institutes.
About The Division of Dermatology
The Division of Dermatology has 2 academic faculty, 3 advanced practice nurses, dedicated specialty nurses and an excellent full time medical photographer. Faculty are active in training pediatric residents (CCHMC), dermatology residents (University of Cincinnati) and medical students (University of Cincinnati). The Division had 6,600 outpatient encounters and 141 inpatient encounters in FY16. Multidisciplinary clinics include Hemangioma and Vascular Malformations, Epidermolysis Bullosa, Eczema, Pigmented Lesions, Dermatology-Rheumatology and Genodermatoses
